CREATING A MARKETING PLAN PART 6
November 23, 2015
Question and Answers…
Yes … the question is … “How do I create a list of potential customers so I can send them regular emails?” We have businesses here to help you with your Marketing Plan.
Question: Is there a tool to help with email marketing? If your business model involves creating a list for email marketing, please Direct Message us your information so we can pass it on.
Question: Does a 100% mobile site look confusing on on a PC? It can .. until the visitor realize it’s in a completely vertical format for mobile phones.
Question: Where and how do I start my Marketing Plan? You have to start with the right domain name. You have to have the best domain name that you can afford. Look here for more information on domain names.
Question: Give me another example of “Cause Marketing” that would help my beauty salon business”. The salon business and by extension makeup, weaving, wigs and so on … correct?
Okay, those products and services are mostly for women clients … right? There are issues unique to women where you are in a position to help. Everyone already know of your good styling ability. The 1st part of a marketing plan is done … your products and services are well known. Now it’s the 2nd part where work is required … why buy from you?
Remember the “why” we covered earlier … why buy from you? Cause Marketing can help here. With the majority of your clients, women health issues comes up often … you could “partner” (remember that word) with local non-profits or national organizations like Susan G. Komen for the Cure and get involved by providing support or education services.
By promoting the “Cause” of women health through your local business you can eventually be known as the local “voice” for the “Cause”. With that reputation women will come to you for information and while there get their services … like a one-stop shop. Cause Marketing works.
You select a “cause”, promote it and people will come for the cause, a cause worth supporting and support your business by extension.
Question: Sometimes you can’t drop the price and survive like the dollar menu. What then? Notice Chipotle didn’t drop the price and in some cases they actually raised the prices. Why? It’s the quality of the products and service which stands out.
Always avoid the “Price War” and concentrate on your Marketing Plan which should include the quality of your goods and/or services. Don’t make the mistake of trying to “go cheap”. Many consumers will opt for a slightly higher price for quality.
People who wanted the “dollar menu” ended up at Chipotle paying more. No “dollar menu” at Chipotle just great service, well trained staff and quality products.
Never lower prices and sacrifice quality .. let quality always prevail. As your sales increase, you will be glad you did.
The last point in this Marketing Plan involves gratitude. Thanking the people who help or provide support for the Marketing Plan. Thank everyone for coming, for support, for recommending the company.
“Thank You” … is one of the most valuable assets a company has, yet is inexpensive and one most often left to chance. Customers and suppliers want to know you see value in them. The company who understands this asset … will flourish.
